Connections Church began a 21 day fast from January 13 - February 2, 2008. These entries jounal our experience.

The God of this week is very different than any God I have ever known. Picked up His Word for the first time in ages outside of Bible study. He reminded me that thoughts are equivalent to action. Since then…ever pressing, always present. Molding. If I sing a song and it’s not to Him or about Him it’s in vain. Internal thoughts shifting to external prayer, conversation. Battles. Understanding for the first time of what repentance really is and the difficulty to accept His forgiveness, and then grateful when I finally do. My God this week is different than any time I have ever known Him. But it isn’t He who is changing; it’s that He is changing me.
