Worship

Come Meet Us
We gather for worship on Sunday mornings, but first, we take time to get connected! So, join us please. Drop by Connections Café from 9:45 to 10:20 on Sunday mornings before service and grab a cup of java, a fresh pastry and pull up a seat so we can get to know each other.

Connecting Times

Hinds’ Feet in High Places

Join us Sunday mornings as our Connections Pointe moves to the Café as we take a literary and spiritual journey with the Christian classic “Hinds’ Feet in High Places,” a wonderful allegory written by Hannah Hurnard. The conversational study is perfect for long-time believers, new believers and those who are still seeking.

Sunday Fellowship

Come hang out with us before church on Sunday mornings. Just one another connecting over coffee, tea, juice and fresh pastries!

Sunday Mornings

Sunday Morning Worship
10:30 AM Sanctuary
Sunday Worship begins with prayer and praise, followed by a culturally relevant sermon from Pastor Mark. Communion is shared the first Sunday of every month to all those who believe that Jesus Christ is one’s Lord and Savior. We worship in a laid-back southern California venue—casual dress and comfortable worshipful atmosphere. Above all, we want to honor Jesus Christ. Children are dismissed for Children’s Church immediately following praise and worship.

Children’s Church
Immediately following worship in the sanctuary, children preschool-aged through second grade are dismissed to “Children’s Church” for a learning experience especially for them. As we grow we’ll be expanding through the sixth grade, with preteens staying with us for the entire service. It’s our desire (but not a requirement) that parents with children in Children’s Church also participate by helping in Children’s Church on a rotating basis.

For moms with babies and toddlers, we have a nursery in the sanctuary where you can still participate in the worship while taking care of restless toddlers or nursing infants.

Connect Groups
Connect Groups are the heartbeat of church life! We have a vision for a county-wide network of Connect Groups, because, while weekends are a time to join together as one body in celebration, Connect Groups provide intimate fellowship, support and relationships. As the church gets bigger we believe it must also get smaller. Pray about which group(s) you’d like to participate in and then call/email the church office or fill out the card in Sunday’s bulletin to let us know where to expect you.

Womens Groups

My Mother’s Daughter
Monthly starting in September
Location: Connections Café
Being an adult mother’s daughter can be filled with emotional and spiritual complexities. We face expectations, boundaries and a struggle for independence, all while seeking acceptance. My Mother’s Daughter is a time for women to share about their “daughter” experience while learning through biblical teachings (and some humor) how to put this relationship into perspective so that we can grow beyond daughter’s of our mother, into daughters of the King and our Savior..

Women’s Wellness
Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Connections Youth Room, Suite H
Hanging out and working out. What can be more fun! Women’s Wellness is a casual workout session. No drill sergeants here! Bring a Pilates ball and a towel for a workout that begins with some prayer (for strength to get us through!), followed by an informal ladies workout with some health and wellness tidbits thrown in.

Mens Breakfast Club

Men’s Breakfast Club
Date: Second Saturday of the Month
Location: Jimmy’s Restaurant
Men, join us for some good humored fellowship where we can relax and build relationships as we grow to be more Godly men. Following Christ’s example of His disciples, we seek to gain spiritual strength and growth with one another, with some great chow and conversation thrown in.

Wild at Heart—Men’s Connect Group
Date: Bimonthly on Mondays
Location: Rotates in homes
Wild at Heart is a book written by John Eldredge which explores our masculine identity in Christ. Our connect group is a forum for discussion and sharing our hearts man to man.
